Los Osos uses 2nd half Scoring Surge to Overpower Upland
The high school rivalry between Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut and Upland’s Josh Nunes came to a close Friday night, but it certainly doesn’t figure to be the last time the two will cross paths. Coming from programs separated by less than five miles on California’s 210 Freeway, Brehaut (committed to UCLA) and Nunes (Stanford) will take their careers from the Baseline League to the Pac-10 Conference.

Orange Lutheran stifles St. John Bosco’s passing attack, en route to 31-24 victory
The Orange Lutheran Lancers (6-1) recovered from some early mistakes in Friday night’s Trinity League rivalry against undefeated St. John Bosco (6-1), pounding the Braves 34-21. Lutheran shut down quarterback Keith Price, a University of Washington commit, with a creative defensive plan that had him contained for most of the night.

Mater Dei Defeats Servite For The 20th Consecutive Time, 42-21
Everyone will agree that the Trinity League matchup between Mater Dei and Servite is a bitter rivalry. However, some may call it absolute dominance, while others would prefer to forget this tragedy. In front of a sellout crowd at Cal State Fullerton, Mater Dei utilized an unstoppable offensive attack and a stingy, shutdown defense to smash Servite for the 20th consecutive season, 42-21.
