DSU: What would you classify as your strengths at the quarterback position?
MW: I feel that I have a strong arm and good accuracy. I also feel that my foot quickness gives me a great edge to get back in the pocket faster.

DSU: Who has been your role model or anyone who has strongly influenced your playing career?
MW: I’ve always looked at Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger as two of the best. I look up to them for their game play and character.

DSU: Who are your three favorite NFL quarterbacks?
MW: I would have to go with Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Carson Palmer.

DSU: What’s a favorite hobby you have outside of playing football?
MW: I like to go see movies with my friends.

DSU: What is your latest recruiting update?
MW: I’ve scheduled a visit to Texas State and the University of Houston. I will also attend camps at TCU, University of Houston, Texas State, Tulsa, and University of Louisiana Lafayette.

DSU: Who are your favorite college programs?
MW: I like UCLA and Tennessee because they both like to air it out and have been great teams since I can remember.

Glendale Academy Diary:

I had a great time working out today. All the sections are fun, especially Anton (Clarkson’s) group because he made it a game time situation. The coaches here are all great. I’ve come to know them better so we all laugh together during workouts. They also have great knowledge about the game and of the quarterback position. I’d listen to anything they teach me. One of the biggest things I learned today is that when I’m on the run I don’t need a windup because my momentum will carry the ball to the receiving target. I chose to come here because my dream is to play football at the next level and Steve Clarkson’s Quarterback Academy is the best place that will help me achieve that.
