DSU: What would you classify as your strengths at the quarterback position?
RR: My strengths as a quarterback are my versatility as both a runner and a thrower along with my leadership ability. Other strong points I possess are my strong desire to win and perfect my weaknesses.
DSU: Who has been your role model or anyone who has strongly influenced your playing career?
RR: My dad has been a powerful influence on me. Going to the next level is very important because it gives me the opportunity to show my younger siblings that achieving their goals is possible if they work hard enough.
DSU: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
RR: Before games I listen to the same playlist since my freshman year. For my pre-game meal I either each tri-tip, chicken, or pasta. Then when I’m in the locker room I always stretch out before putting my uniform on.
DSU: Who are your three favorite NFL quarterbacks?
RR: Tom Brady, Brett Favre, and Ben Roethlisberger.
DSU: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
RR: I like playing basketball, sitting at the beach, and going camping.
DSU: What is your latest recruiting update?
RR: I have received information from Cal, Arizona, Oregon, Florida, and Washington.
DSU: Do you have a list of favorite colleges?
RR: I like pretty much all the schools located within the Pac-10 Conference.
Ambassador College Diary:
Today’s workout was really straight forward and kind of a grind. The stations were pretty long which gave me the opportunity to learn a lot at each one. One of the big things I learned was to leave my shoulders level and stay relaxed while throwing the deep ball. The coaching staff as a unit was great. They were very patient and gave tons of constructive criticism to work off. The highlight of my day had to be the film session. You learn so much about the game during that time. My favorite drill was the one that required us to throw on the run. I thought I did an OK job but could still polish up on a lot of techniques. This is a program I would recommend for other quarterbacks because if you want to be the best you can be, Steve Clarkson’s Quarterback Academy is the place to join.
