DSU: What would you classify as your strengths at the quarterback position?
AP: My arm strength, accuracy, and my footwork in the pocket.
DSU: Who has been your role model or anyone who has strongly influenced your playing career?
AP: Steve Young because of the way he handles himself on and off the field.
DSU: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
AP: I always put my right socks and shoes on before my left.
DSU: Who are your three favorite NFL quarterbacks?
AP: Steve Young, Carson Palmer, and Brady Quinn.
DSU: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
AP: Football, weight lifting, and wakeboarding.
DSU: What is your latest recruiting update?
AP: UConn, BYU, Stanford, Cal, and San Diego State are all interested, but no offers at this point.
DSU: Do you have a list of favorite colleges?
AP: BYU, Stanford, UConn, Cal, San Diego State, and Yale.
Ambassador College Diary:
Today’s session was really good. It was hot, but everyone pushed through it and really did well. The coaching staff was great. Their experience and familiarity with the quarterback position really helps. I learned how to holster my thumb when I was throwing on the run to better my spiral. I particularly enjoyed the speed workouts because all the speed was incorporated into the quarterback position. There was one station that every ball I threw was good. I really don’t think I threw a bad ball the entire time I was there. Overall, I felt I did pretty well throwing the ball today. I would definitely recommend this program because of the experience and knowledge the coaches have.
