DSU: What would you classify as your strengths at the quarterback position?
KG: I’m a quarterback who exhibits great pocket awareness, has great arm strength, throws with much accuracy, and can escape from the pocket and run.

DSU: Who has been your role model or anyone who has strongly influenced your playing career?
KG: My role model has been my father. He has pushed me everyday both on and off-the-field.

DSU: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
KG: Before each game we always pray as a team. After that we get rowdy and start our pre-game yells.

DSU: Who are your three favorite NFL quarterbacks?
KG: Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, and Tom Brady.

DSU: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
KG: Other than playing football I like fishing, hunting, church, and hanging out with girls.

DSU: What is your latest recruiting update?
KG: I’ve already been offered by Rice, but I’ve received a lot of interest from other Division I schools such as Notre Dame, Florida, Boise State, Nebraska, and Missouri.

DSU: Do you have a list of favorite colleges?
KG: Not at the moment. I’m just going to wait and see who comes forward.

Glendale Academy Diary:

Today’s workout gave me a full view of what football has to offer. Everything we did gave me a better understanding of the game. The coaching staff is full of great coaches who have a profound knowledge in what their doing. They are willing to push you to the limit in order to get everything out of you. As I was throwing with Coach Clarkson he really touched on the positioning of your feet and the importance of weight distribution. Both are key factors in throwing the football. His station was definitely my favorite because it simulated a game situation where we were forced to make a play. My personal performance went better than I thought. I tried to soak in everything the coaches were teaching us and apply it on the field. For Day #2 I’m going to try to take everything I learned the first day and better myself by putting it into action. To all the quarterbacks out there, this is a program I would definitely recommend because it focuses on all the aspects of football to make you a well rounded quarterback.
