Entering into the eighth year of his coaching career, Kaub has wasted little time moving up the ranks. He first broke onto the coaching scene at his High School alma mater by serving as the Gondoliers Wide Receiver Coach for five seasons under Head Coach Angelo Gasca. While at Venice, Kaub coached two City Players of the Year in James Lewis and BJ Vickers (Arizona, West Texas A&M), as well as four other Division 1-A wideouts: Gerald Rodriguez (Arizona, UNLV), Ryan Graves (UCLA), Antwuan Giddens (Cincinnati), Eddy Newton (Baylor) and Jerry Johnson (UCLA). In 2006 Kaub would accept an Offensive Coordinator position at Gardena High School where he coached WR Brandon Wimberly (Nevada), QB Darren Dupar (Missouri Western), and LB/TE Micheal Quinn Stewart (Portland State). Before arriving at La Salle, Kaub returned to Venice to coach the quarterbacks for the duration of the 2007 season. |
